"Had several policies with this office. State Farm canceled our homeowners coverage, which is terrible. The issue was made worse by this office. They notified us by US mail apparently; however, we get a great deal of paper mail from this office and it got overlooked because we had payments set up automatically. What I would expect from a situation like this is an email and a call explaining the gravity of the situation. In a very deceptive way, they called me asking to authorize an additional $64 payment. They did not mention that this payment was due to losing our car/house bundle when our homeowners was cancelled. We only found out about this when our mortgage company notified us they would be purchasing hazard insurance on our behalf. Horrendous customer service. *Edit: This google account is a business account shared by several family members who also shared 2 home and 3 car policies. We also just found out that the second home policy had not been set up for auto withdrawal like every other policy resulting in not knowing that our payment was late. Very poor communication."
